Review: Things To-Do List

  • $9.99 price tag

  • Things is simple in both design and function

  • 4/5 star rating

  • Get Things: Things on The AppStore

I've seen Things around the AppStore many times and finally decided to give it a try and I wasn't disappointed. Things for iPhone has everything you need for a basic to do list on the iPhone today including a desktop pairing, simplicity, and the functionality you would expect.

What is Things?

Things is simply a to-do list/task manager for the iPhone . There is no other way to describe it, this is Thing's one function and it does it well.

Today's FREE App: Balcassa

A unique and challenging cross between a slider puzzle and a Rubik's Cube, Balcassa includes a variety of games offering hours of increasingly challenging game-play. The object of each of the games is to rotate a number of cubes into a sequence, a pattern or orientation by moving them around the screen. In some games it may be enough to get each cube into position with the correct side showing, while in other games rotation of the cubes must also be considered. The idea is simple, the solution is not!

Today's FREE App: Blimp

Blimp: the flying adventures

The merchant planet Solbot of the Wondda galaxy was not always a merchant planet and a member of the Allied Planets organization. As an allied pilot I, too, joined the fight only to come out of it as a captain Zed Pelin, a pilot of the merchant company on a new and independent planet. That could be the end of my story, but rather it's just a beginning…

Cram Mac & Cram iPhone Update News

We have a few matters to address, so I will make this quick!

General Update News:

Ok, now this is the update a lot of you have been asking for (at least we hope). I will detail the updates below, but I just wanted to thank everyone for their feedback and suggestions for Cram. We feel Cram is slowly becoming the best study tool for the Mac and iPhone platform right now and it's because of the feedback we get from you guys, so we really appreciate it and as always if you have any feedback let us know!

Cram iPhone Updates:

Cram iPhone received the most updates as the iPhone version had a lot of catching up to do and there are LOTS more coming. There are actually some on their way to approval to Apple right now. So be forewarned, you will be receiving updates frequently from this point on.

Key Cram Updates in Cram iPhone 1.6:

  • Import tests from Cram Mac to Cram iPhone

  • Saved username and password within Cram test portal

  • Ability to add images to questions

  • Quizlet Test Channel added giving access to thousands of test sets

Cram Mac Updates:

Cram Mac updates are a bit subtle, but they are still there and based on the feedback from a lot of users.

  • Added the ability to easily split large tests into smaller tests

  • Added the ability to easily duplicate an existing test

  • Export tests from the Mac to the iPhone

  • Small toolbar refinements

Cram for Mac and $15 iTunes Gift Card Contest:

There is a contest on YouTube going on right now, as a collaborative effort from a lot of YouTube Apple techies. Cram for Mac and a $15 iTunes are being giving away as long as you leave a comment ON THAT VIDEO (not this blog post). I have included the link to that video below. Good luck everyone!
