This is totally a beginner tip, but I have to say it is one of my favorite things to discuss with Mac newbies as it demonstrates the ease and power of the Mac.
There are two simple ways to delete an app and one entails using an app (go figure).
Both are very simple and quick...so let's get to it.
To delete an app from your Mac:
- Select the app and simply drag and drop to your trash can. (tooo easy...right?)
The other method is using an app that deletes apps. Two apps that I have found to do this is:
- App Cleaner - FREE
- App Zapper - $13
The difference between simply dragging the app to the trashcan and using one of these apps is that these apps also delete all of the related files to that app, including the app preferences.
Try using both of these methods and see which one works for you.
If you have already tried both, leave a comment and let us know which one you use?
