Quick-Tip: Rearrange your iPhone Icons

You've download so many applications on your iPhone or iPod Touch, you have various home screen shortcuts and it is getting pretty cluttered on your home screen. What to do? Some rearrangement should help organize things, let's discuss some iPhone icon rearrangement shall we.

Of course the iPhone is just extremely simple to use, so this is just another thing that takes very little time to understand. Follow the wonderfully short steps below (which are almost identical to the directions for deleting iPhone apps) and you will be well on your way to an organized iPhone/iPod home screen.

  1. iPhone Delete App - SimpleLeap.comFrom your iPhone home screen, press down on any icon until you see the icons start to shake.

  2. Once you see the icons shaking, drag the icon you would like to move in the place you want it to be. Make sure if you want to move an icon to another screen, to drag it "off the screen", it will then move to the next page.

  3. You can move as many icons around as you would like when your iPhone or iPod is in this state.

  4. Once you have moved all of the icons to their place, simply click on the iPhone/iPod "Home" button (the big round button at the bottom of the phone) and the icons will stop shaking.

That's it, you've done it. You have helped your iPhone help you. You've organized the tool that keeps you organized (ok, I'm done).

Btw...a little tip:

Try to group applications and shortcuts with similar functions on the same pages, for instance, group all of your business iPhone apps on the same page, the apps that help you study in school on the same page, your personal apps on the same page, etc.

Chao for now!
