How-To: Change Your iPhone Voicemail Password

Do you think someone that you just don't want to access to your iPhone voicemail has it, an ex-girlfriend or ex-boyfriend, nosy relative, or a friend who you wanted to give access to your voicemail that doesn't need it anymore? How about forgetting your iPhone voicemail password, did you do that, well we have a solution nonetheless. Change your voicemail password. That's right, it's so easy to do, so let's get to it...



Do you know your password and just want to change it? Follow the below directions....

  1. From your iPhone Home Screen, tap on "Settings"

  2. iPhone Voicemail SettingsScroll down the list and tap on "Phone"

  3. iPhone Voicemail Password ScreenScroll down the list on this menu and tap on "Change Voicemail Password"

  4. iPhone Voicemail Password Screen - SimpleLeap.comFrom this screen, follow the prompt and Enter your current iPhone voicemail password.

  5. Now enter the new password.


You are done. This was simple!

Now, if you have forgotten your password and would like to reset your iPhone voicemail password, you have two options and I have provided directions for both below.

Reset your password via automated voice system (directions for AT&T customers)

  1. From your phone, "Call 611"

  2. Enter your iPhone wireless number starting with area code.

  3. Press 3 to "Get Help with Voicemail".

  4. Press 3 to reset your VM password.

  5. Enter your Billing Zip code.


That's it! Simply wait for a text message to be sent to your iPhone and you are done.
